ROMPER STOMPER — from the SVA STONE brand — is super relevant in the cool season and a favorite for many. Partly because it is a version of the legendary American MA1 jacket (popularly known as a bomber). It owes its name to the 1992 Australian film of the same name.
The bomber has a frontal brass tractor-type zipper. A textile sling is tucked into its slider for more convenient unfastening. There is a windproof flap under the zipper.
The ROMPER STOMPER bomber has several pockets. Two of them are front-side, located at an angle, closed with a flap on a metal button. Inside one of these pockets is a tag sewn in, which convincingly imitates an army one. Another pocket is located on the left sleeve, it is equipped with a zipper of the same type as the front one, and in its slider there is a ring with a label similar to the one used by paratroopers (in our case, the brand name is embroidered on it).
Also (as in the army prototype) on top of the sleeve pocket there are 4 compartments for pens or pencils sewn (two in a row). A red brand nameplate is sewn on the side of them. Two side slit pockets on the button are provided on the inside of the bomber jacket. In the heart area there is a solid PVC chevron with a stern eagle and the brand logo on a heraldic shield. The inscription “SVASTONE DIVISION” is inscribed in the circle of the chevron.
The inside of the bomber jacket is the same as that of the legendary prototype. In other words, this is a bright orange lining. It had a signaling function, allowing a pilot who made an emergency landing or ejected to be identified from the air and evacuated in time. The MA1 jacket was essentially reversible: by turning it inside out, you got the same bomber jacket, but in a signaling color.
In the case of the ROMPER STOMPER by SVA STONE, the situation is slightly different, because a large label with information about the manufacturer and the product is sewn onto the lining of the upper back (there is also a loop for hanging). Despite the fact that the bomber jacket is designed for demi-season, it can be comfortable in winter (provided that the second layer of clothing is a sweater or sweatshirt).
