Product Description
Material and care
Main material: Rip-stop Optima polycotton.
A durable material with a mixed composition of 60% cotton/40% polyester.
TEFLON water and dirt repellent impregnation.
VAD dyeing.
Density 240g/m2
Due to synthetic fibers, the material withstands loads and is resistant to abrasion. Cotton makes rip-stop pleasant to the touch and provides good hygienic performance. Reinforcement threads are inserted crosswise into the fabric structure, equidistant from each other. The interval between the threads is from 5 to 8 mm, forming an extremely strong “lattice”, which significantly increases the strength without increasing its weight, and in the event of mechanical damage to the fabric (cut formation), they prevent the damage area from increasing.
Advantages compared to conventional blended fabrics:
1. Tearing loads are 30-60% higher.
3. Abrasion resistance is 20-50% higher.
Comfort and hygiene:
1. Hygroscopicity index is 20-30% higher.
2. Air permeability index is 60% higher.
3. Extreme reliability is achieved without increasing the weight of the fabric.
Reinforcing material: Cordura.
Ultra-strong nylon fabric with a special thread structure, with water-repellent impregnation and with a polyurethane coating.
Developed and registered by the American company DuPont in 1929.
The fabric is processed in several steps, thanks to which the coating is of high quality and lasts a long time. In addition, up to 10% cotton is added to the thread, which allows to increase the fabric's resistance to abrasion.
