This book is a historical synopsis of the legendary volunteer unit "Da Vinci's Wolves". It reflects the evolution and spirit of the unit from the time of voluntary formation in the early period of the ATO, to the official organizational unit in the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the full-scale invasion. Additional emphasis of the book is placed on explaining the nature of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the significance of the ideology of Ukrainian nationalism, which is the basis of the collective worldview of the wolf pack. The book provides an explanation of why the "Da Vinci's Wolves" became one of the most motivated and combat-ready units on the front, and in the fighters in its ranks, it intensifies the feeling of pride in belonging to it. The author of the text at the time of its writing was a fighter of the unit and a direct participant in some of the events he describes, and therefore this book is a unique eyewitness account of important events in Ukrainian history.
