This book contains the thoughts of a well-known publicist and researcher of ideological and cultural topics about Russian civilization. This is an attempt to give a holistic sociosophical and political view in a sharp essayistic style on the problem of the development of Russian imperialism as a kind of fate for Europe. The author conducts deep historiosophical "sections" in order to understand the logic of the origin and destructive attack of various forms of Russian expansionism: specific despotism, exalted chauvinism, unbridled imperialism, fanatical messianism, fatal ochlocracy. At the same time, he uses the intellectual "toolkit" of outstanding Ukrainian theoreticians and ideologues - I. Franko, S. Tomashivskyi, I. Krevetskyi, D. Dontsov, Yu. Lypa, Ye. Malaniuk, Ya. Stetska.
The collection also contains a number of topical analytical excursions into the issues of geopolitical assessment of Russia's modern aggressive policy, the causes of its war with Ukraine, and the search for ways to prevent the destructive influence of Russian imperialism.
