The collection of selected works of the leading theorist of Ukrainian strong-willed nationalism includes his important and eloquent works of the 1920s, which have become classics of Ukrainian political thought. At that time, D. Dontsov's talent as a publicist and political philosopher had just blossomed, he became the most influential ideological figure in Western Ukraine and the emigration, headed the famous journal "Literary and Scientific Bulletin". The book "The Foundations of Our Politics" (Vienna, 1921) opened a new era in Ukrainian historical existence, and a new generation of Ukrainian nationalists was formed on its ideals and principles, which soon created the heroics of the OUN and the UPA. The collection was supplemented by the brochures "What is Internationalism?" and "Politics is Principled and Opportunistic", the best ideological essays and articles that demonstrate the author's talent as a wonderful analyst, original conceptualist, and unsurpassed polemicist. Taken together, these works provide a holistic picture of the complex of ideas and sentiments that the right-wing Ukrainians lived in the territories free from Bolshevism in the interwar period.
